Glass Blowing metal print by Mark Currier. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Glass Blowing at Jamestown, Virginia, the first place where glass was made in this country. They still produce glass there. Costumed interpreters and skilled artisans use the same methods used 400 years ago when the first settlers of Jamestown (the birthplace of the United States) settled there in 1607. This image was made when the blower inserted the glass into the furnace to soften it for shaping.

Dad was an advanced amateur photographer (among his many other technical skills and interests) and it inspired me at the age of 4 to ask for a camera.
